Consulting Manager

Full-time Leawood, KS

  • Manage multiple medium to large size custom software development projects with minimal direction from senior leadership 
  • Develop subject matter expertise in functional domain of client projects 
  • Guide clients in definition of enterprise-grade software solutions 
  • Lead teams through Agile software development processes, producing deliverables such as epics, user stories, retrospectives, status reports, test plans, test results, etc.
  • Structure, manage, and ensure the timeliness and quality of work product of the team 
  • Proactively manage risk, resources, and budget 
  • Provide effective status to client and leadership 
  • Continually enhance skill set and stay current with software and software development trends and technologies  
  • Cultivate and maintain excellent client relationships  
  • Mentor project team members 
  • Assist with business development tasks as directed  
  • Work independently and with teams, multi-task, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced and sometimes ambiguously defined project environment 
  • 10% Quarterly bonus


  • Great attitude, work ethic, energy, and enthusiasm  
  • BA/BS degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering 
  • Web and/or mobile application development experience required  
  • System Integrator and/or Software Company experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience coordinating with and/or managing offshore software development teams 
  • ​Data analysis experience required, SQL experience preferred 
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies required, CSM preferred 
  • Proficient in MS Project, Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint  
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
